Frequently Asked Questions

Birthday Party Entertainment

Which areas do you cover?

Alex generally travels up to 70 miles / 100 minutes drive from his home in Whitchurch, North Shropshire. However, he is able to travel further based on availability, and there may be a small travel fee. For more information, see our location page here.

Why choose you over a cheaper option?

We understand that we may charge a bit more than the average party entertainment company, however Alex is not your average birthday party entertainer. We do not use freelancers, and therefore you can guarantee that Alex will be there for you from start to finish.

We strive to bring high quality professional entertainment to your party, and we can assure that you will want us back year after year!  Get in touch and we can create a package that is right for you!

Is there a limit to the number of children?

No! The only limit is the space that is provided. For our Silver and Gold packages, we need to know the number of children so we can plan our circus experience and workshop.

What age are your shows suitable for?

Our shows can be adjusted for ages 5-11, but as an experienced famiy entertainer, Alex will entertain everyone in the room!

Can you do *insert theme here* parties?

We have had years of experience theming magic shows for the top entertainment companies, so let us know your ideas and we can create a bespoke quote for you!

What is included in your Variety Show?

Our 50 minute variety shows start with a hilarious opening to introduce Alex to the children, and to make the birthday child feel special from the very start. From there, guests will be entertained by an incredible array of interactive magic routines, juggling, hat manipulation, and some classic slapstick moments! We like to end the show with a group photo which can lead into cake cutting, or more party fun!

What is the difference between your classic and larger show?

Both shows are a great option for creativing a magical, memorable birthday party! Our larger show involves more volunteers, more impressive balancing acts, as well as a curtain backdrop which makes for a great group photo!

What do we need to provide?

A performance space roughly 4 metres wide by 2 metres deep for our classic variety show, and a bit bigger for our larger show. However, if space is tight, let us know and we can see what we can do. We would also appreciate access to a power socket. Leave the rest up to us!

School Assembly Shows

What is included in your interactive shows?

Our interactive shows for KS1 and KS2 are packed with magic, circus skills, physical comedy, and plenty of moments for the children to express themselves and add to the magical experience. We provide all the contents of the show including music, as well as some environmentally friendly giveaways for the students to remember the experience.

What is included in your magic and circus workshops?

Our workshops are very flexible in terms of the content, and it will vary depending on the age of the students, the length of the workshop, and the overall desired outcome.

The morning session usually is designated to magic, as it is a great starter for confidence building, creativity, and gives the students something they can share with their family. It is also the first thing they ask about after seeing the show!

The afternoon is focused on circus skills and getting the children moving – a great use for all of their after lunch energy! They will learn coordination, teamwork and perseverance skills through various juggling, balance, and more!

Which areas do you cover?

We provide Primary School assembly shows and workshops for North West England, West Midlands and North Wales. However we often travel further afield, and have previously worked in the South West.

How many students can we have in a show/workshop?

Our shows are seperated into KS1 and KS2, but there is no limit to the amount of children! This means that the personal interactions and magical moments are tailored to the specific age group, leading to a better experience.

We work with a maximum of 30 students per workshop, so we usually do a number of workshops throughout the day for several classes.

What do we need to provide?

Our interactive shows are best performed in a school hall with access to either a sound system or power outlet.

If you book our additional workshop, this can also be held in the school hall, however it is possible for the magic morning session to be held in a classroom.

Do you do special events such as World Book Day, Easter, and Christmas?

Yes, yes and…yes! From our experience, these occasions can be some of the most magical, and we pride in making these events even better. We have themed seasonal shows including Christmas and Easter, and magic is the perfect way to bring stories to life for World Book Day.

If you have another occasion in mind, we are 99.99% confident we can provide the perfect solution for your school, so please do get in touch.
